In 2009, Zu was new to Dallas, where she had moved for work, alone, starting a new life. Dedicated to her work, she was also looking for an activity to relax and have fun; At the same time, Jorge didn't want to feel left out when he went out with friends and, thought that learning to dance even with his “two left feet,” would be a good idea. It was there where they “met” for the first time. They both entered Jay Styles' dance academy where, every time there was a rotation of couples, they asked each other the same question and laughed:

Two years later, having been friends, on July 4, 2011, Jorge invited Zu to a party on a catamaran on Lake Lewisville. Days later, Jorge asked Zu if she would like to accompany him with his Rock band, to which Zu responded super excited: Not only would I like it, I would love it! Especially singing and playing guitar! Zu confessed to Jorge that playing in a band had always been her dream. Jorge had little hearts in his eyes and invited her to a jam session he would have with his rock band.

That day would unite them forever, by sharing their love and passion for music, singing, and playing guitar.

 

Thus, on July 12, 2011, while listening to a live rock band (Alebrije) in Addison -TX-, Jorge asked Zu if she wanted to be his girlfriend.

 

Zu has always been a lover and defender of animals, and felt that they needed a furry friend to complement their lives. On March 18, 2012, they rescued Peanut, the third member of the family: a beautiful Cavachon puppy that burst into this couple's life and brought the greatest lessons of love, loyalty, care, and dedication.

It's been 12 years: Suffice it to say that Zu and Jorge have immensely enjoyed traveling together, playing with their rock band, riding a bike, kayaking, participating in triathlons, going to Formula 1 races and, simply, being and sharing tastes and Projects.

Now, this beautiful story continues with their wedding; the day when both will begin a new chapter in their lives.
